trial version to network version - repair?

Can a standalone trial verision of software have a repair reinstall done to it instead of a full uninstall and reinstall to make it grab a license?

you can try this: http://upandready.typepad.com/up_and_ready/2012/04/autocad-family-2013-hacking-the-registry-to-chang...

if this doesn't work you have to uninstall and reinstall as a network license

Thank you.  I did see that on the blog.  What versions will registry hacking work with?  I'm doing 2012 right now.  As I remember, after 2010 they "fixed" the ability to hack the registry to transform standalone to network because it was not supported.

here is one for inventor 2012: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=17847202&linkID=9242018

your going to find this key in the other 2012 products if its there
