transfer license

I had AutoCAD installed on a now broken laptop. The LCD screen is beyond fixable and I cant see a thing. It just flickers like crazy. I have tried another monitor but has not succeeded. If this is the case, how do I transfer my AutoCAD license from this?? I am a student and desperately need it at home

Connect your laptop to an external monitor.  Then you can use the license transfer utility.  Otherwise, just reinstall on a new machine and activate.  If you need a new activation code, if activation fails, then you can request one.
