I don't have to much experience of redundant servers. What is the problem
with the single server setup? Have you considered distributed servers?

good morning.
we're on 2007. we have a single license server set up (which has been
working fine for a few years) and we have around 50 active users.
now, that single server is having problems and my supervisor wants us to
switch to redundant servers. while setting up the redundant servers
shouldn't be too hard and i see i'll have to re-create (or modify the
existing) the deployment. but what about all the workstations out there...
will we have to re-install AutoCAD on their machine for them to see the
redundant info (the 2 new ip addresses) - or is there some other setting I
can change that allows them to see the redundant info. (even if it means
typing in the ip addresses on each machine) so i don't lose their
preferences and have to reset up their plotter access?
