serial number not vaild

I am trying to install a 2010 version of Auto Cad.  It was purchased by my boss 3 years ago, and has not been upgraded.  When I try to install is says serial number not valid.  Is this because it has not been upgraded since it was purchased in 2010. Please let me know as soon as possible as I am suppose to be drawing right now.

Hi Ben!

Chances are your boss also purchased a subscription contract with the 2010 license, which would have upgraded the license and cause the invalid serial number error once the subscription had expired.

With that being said, can you please send me a Private Message (click on my philip.s profile name and then "Send this user a private message") with your serial number or contact our License Assistance team so that we can troubleshoot accordingly.
