upgraded the current FlexLM to version 8.3.1 per the instructions in "AutoCAD
2004 Network License Manager Quick Start Guide"; users can still run AutoCAD
2002.
When I installed AutoCAD 2004 on a workstation and tried to run it, I got
the error message, "A valid license could not be obtained by the network
license manager...".
The "FlexLM Service 1" is running without problems.
Is the problem that I need to get a new license file for the 2004 version?
And if so, would a new license file prevent the 2002 version from
running?
