project pathing

I'm currently working on what we see as a large project roughly 300 sheets
total for a highschool adddition and renovation. We are currently in the
process of dreating out directories in PN for this project. Were starting
to run into problems when we get more than 6-8 folders deep. I talked to
Autodesk and was told that PN has a character limit of 250 characters total.
I have a problem believing that many of yo uout there that look at a 300
sheet project and think that it's small and are using PN have a smaller
folder structure. I was curious if any of you would share what your folder
structure looks like for fairly large projects and how your keeping names
short. Thanks to everyone and especially those who share there
information........my new one is below with shortened names

ADT uses UNC pathing for some of it stuff. so the 250 limit is the UNC as
well.

So that path would be:
\\servername\Sharename\GatesChiliCSD\205181-Additions &
Renovations\205181.02-High School Add & Renov\AutoCAD\Capital Projects 2005
Gates Chili CSD-High School Additions\Views\Arch\Areas\A\EP\RCP

BTW the 250 chr limit is a Windows limit.
