Hi there,

I recently joined the autodest community as i thought it was time to finally get AutoCAD on my home PC rather than communiting into Uni all the time.

I have managed to join the community no bother, but i cannot download the file (AutoCAD 2013) at all. It doesn't even attempt then crash, it just acts like a dead link and does nothing. The drop down menu opens and shows me the options to do the browser download etc. but it does not let me click those options. I have also ensured that no pop up blocker, antivirus scanner etc is running at the time.

Some assistance would be much appreciated.

I read another similar post by someone who has had the same problem, and they got a direct download link sent to them, is it possible for me to get this?

The links are valid for 48 hours. Now, another alternative is for you is to download the trial version from our site and activate it using your student serial number. If you encounter any activation issue, 

contact our Registration and Activation Team directly.

For future reference, prior to download, please check your system for and disable any of the following:

# Firewall - These are designed to stop downloads from non-approved sites.

# Anti-Virus Programs - These will try to stop or scan a download. It may cause the download to be corrupt or damaged.

# Download Monitors - Programs such as GoZilla! and NetZip are not compatible with our server and will sometimes block or stop downloads.

# Screen Savers - In some instances, screen savers can interfere with the download process. If you have a screen saver that is starting while you are downloading, please disable it temporarily until your download is complete.
