pass authorization code to acad 2004

Is there a way I can pass the authorization code to a stand alone client install using the Network Installation Wizard? I've tried adding the (ACADSERIALKEY) property to the .ini in the AdminImage folder as well as editing the acad.msi directly with ORCA. But in either instance Acad chokes on the install.

Sorry, that can not be done.  If you are doing
standalone deployments each workstation must be authorized.  We do not
support third party tools used for creating or editing MSI or MST
files.

Consider using network licensing which will not
require local authorization at each workstation.
