new LMTOOLS or not going from 2013 to 2014

i read up here that an upgrade of the license manager is not necessary. this contradicts other information.

I have LMTOOLS 11.10.0.0 running on Windows Server 2003 R2 running autocad 2013 suites

do I have to change the LMTOOLS version for autocad 2014 suites?

just start and stop the service and read a new license file?
