network licence grouping option

Hi,
We have 11 network licence in our office, I tried with ADSKFLEX.OPT, file to group the licence and restrict licence between departments. I use the attached file to do this, but evenafter i reserved 3 to traffic group, the 4th person from the same group can access it. please have a look and advice where I did mistake:-

Try remove the INCLUDE rows and if that does not help look in the debug log
for clues.

Hi jimmy,
Thanks for the update, but no luck even after i tried that.
For report log, Is not crating any report file under specifid location. I could find one debug file under Network Licence folder, but is not giving any information regarding this.

The debug log should confirm that the settings you use are read.
Do you see something like this?
(adskflex) Using options file: "C:\Program Files\Autodesk Network License
Manager\License\ADSKFLEX.OPT"
Make sure the OPT is in the same folder as the license file and that the
name is correct.

hi Jimmy,

the opt file name and location are correct.

But while taking debug I could see only the below codes; there is no specific opt file name as you specified.

22:27:06 (lmgrd) Rereading license file... Requested from asdr0079@hc-mer-dx-lic-01

It does not look like the option file is getting read. Is the Report.rl
getting created?

Make sure the adskflex.opt is located in the same folder as the license file

The debug.log should show all the settigs from the options file

also put Quotes around the path of the rl file
REPORTLOG +"C:\Program Files\LMserver\Logs\Report.rl"

change

Group Traffic apd00971 dgd00864 kdd00943 mhd00944 NQDX0687 jcd01130 wgd00995
kvdx0653 asdr0079

to

GROUP Traffic apd00971 dgd00864 kdd00943 mhd00944 NQDX0687 jcd01130 wgd00995
kvdx0653 asdr0079

See if that works

regards

John
