maya trial activation

I am un able to activate maya because I can not access the request code from maya. I'm supposed to open maya to get those codes but maya won't open from the desktop icon. any solutions?

What is the exact error message?  Can you send a screen capture of the problem?

I would uninstall Maya in the Add/Remove Programs and backup then delete the following files and folders:

Windows Vista/Windows 7

1. C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Adlm
2. C:\ProgramData\FLEXnet\adskflex_#######_tsf.data

Then re-install Maya.  Also, delete your Maya preferences at:

C:\Users\YOUR-USER-NAME\Documents\maya\2011-x64\prefs
