licensing error -15.570.0 for autodesk plant design

I received this error after installation.

This is a single network license, so I installed on my computer (not as a distribution), then chose network license and specified my computer name. Then,

1. Requested license information (through web chat)

2. Copied into Network License Manager Folder

3. Directed LMTOOLs to this folder, started server

4. Opened autocad, directed search for license to the lic file from step 2

5. Received error message

Hopefully this is enough information for the issue to be resolved. I've also noticed that the ethernet address in the system settings tab of LMTOOLs does not match my mac address. I'm not sure if this is important or how to change it.

Thanks for any assistance.

the mac address needs to match

run a status enquiry on flex lm and see if it works

I performed a status inquiry, it did not detect the autodesk license. There are two ethernet addresses listed under "system settings", and one of them is the correct address for my ethernet. I submitted this address to create the license file. I'm not sure what the other one is, or if it matters.

The status inquiry was able to detect minitab licenses on a corporate network, just nothing from my computer (where I tried to install the network license).

try allowing these ports through your firewall

The FLEXlm® based version uses the following ports:

  • TCP ports 2080 (for the adskflex vendor daemon)
  • TCP ports 27000 to 27009 (for the lmgrd master daemon)

Thanks for helping.

I allowed the ports, there was no change in the status. I've requested that my corporate IT get involved but I'm not sure if they'll have any more luck.
