We are rather new at Revit and the lic manager. I am having the same troubles as listed above. Is this still an ongoing problem?
We are running LMTOOLS Ver. 220.127.116.11 Build 73797 i86 _n3
Because we have a very stingy IS dept I do not have access to the server that the lic man resides on. About once a month I have to call IS to have them do a Stop and Start on the manager. Is there a way I can avoid this?
You can access your NLM remotely thru a local LMTOOLS on your workstation by choosing configure with license file and placing 27000@SERVERNAME in the box. Servername is the hostname of your server. That will allow you to remotely administer the server.
