license file

the IT team already installed autocad mechanical in my laptop with the license file in the company computer server.

i want to continue edit my drawing at home but that's not possible cause there is no license file in my laptop.

so can i get the lic file ?

If you do have a networked license, you can request a separate serial number (Home Use) through our Registration and Activation Team. Kindly complete the form and submit. They will contact your directly regarding your request.

This kind of licensing question is best handled in our Installation & Licensing forum, but let me answer your question.

In addition to Arlin's suggestion, if you installed a network licensed version of Autodesk product, you can borrow a license. Please refer to the following technical solution. Even though it mentions Navisworks, the same workflow applies to AutoCAD Mechanical as well.

Im  transferring the license of the autocad LT 2013 through License transfer utility but there is an error below:

The serial number you entered is not valid. Try again (1)

click the "Try again" link to resubmit the request.

Error reference: 1

Welcome to the forums.

You can either borrow license on your laptop from your company network license server or apply for home use license.
