it that any free upgrade from LT2013 to LT2014?

Customer purchased LT2013 on last year, recently he received a mail from Autodesk subcribtion center, to advice for upgrade to the latest LT2014.

need to clarify: - is that free upgrade from LT2013 to LT 2014? if then how?

Looks that way. You should have your LT2014 available then. Sometimes it takes a bit for the system to auto-fulfill the new product serials. You can install the trial and activate it when you receive your updated serial number.
