I currently have a student account and I am wondering, if I develop an interest, to buy a commercial license, around how much will this cost?

BTW, I am using Maya, although I am switching to 3Ds Max, so I will probably buy Max

Assuming Maya Educational Products work the same as other Autodesk Educational Products; you will not want to use anything developed using the Educational version as these will include the banner 'Created with an Autodesk Educational Product' (or similar).

Opening and especially Inserting these into Full version products will "infect" the commercial version with the banner.

Autodesk Resellers may offer a work around for this issue.
