grace period

We are planning on finally getting our Autocad 2000i Network version
installed soon. When I call to get the license key, will it take the
R14 copies away? The 2000i copies are upgrades to R14.
It will take me some time to go through and uninstall R14 and then
install 2000i on each client machine. In the mean time I do not want
to have the remaing R14 users going with out Autocad and waiting until
I can get 2000i installed.

Is there a grace period that allows me to run the R14 and 2000i
versions at the same time?

Thanks,
Don Jacobsen

I don't know about a "legal" grace period, but you can run
them at the same time. The license key you get for 2000i
will not take your R14 lics aways.

Read your copy of the EULA. I think you'll find that it's 60 days.

Thanks Paul,

I'll check it to be sure - 60 days would be plenty of time for me to
get everyone upgraded (I hope).
