factory tab in Inventor 2012

i installed the English pack of Autodesk Factory design suite ultimate 2012.

the problem is when i want to use inventor 2012, the factory tab doesn't exist. i uninstalled and reinstalled the suite again but still don't work.

what can be the problem??

can you please help me.

Please following the steps to check your installation and configuration:

1  Check if you have installed the factory addin for Inventor in the Control Panel.

 

2  If you didn't install the addin, please use your disk or installation files to run the setup, and config your settings as follow:

3  After that, please check your Add-in Manager to load the utilities:

4 Then you should have the Factory tab:

Thanks for the answer but It doesn't work:

- when i look for Factory design suite utilities for inventor in the control panel, i don't find it

- i couldn't change the configuration of inventor, so i uninstalled it.  iwhen i tried to check the "Factory design suite utilities for inventor" option while i am configuring it for reinstalling, it said that it is already installed, but i can not find it anywhere.

- in the add in manager, even when i click load, the "factory" option is unloaded automatically.

From what you description, seems there is something wrong with your utilities.

Could you try to uninstall Autodesk Factory Design Suite Utilities for Inventor 2012 using the Quick Uninstall Tool for Autodes Factory Design Suite 2012 which under Windows - Start - All programs - Autodesk - Factory Design Suite 2012 first? Then just try to reinstall the utilities addin for inventor.
