error installing AutoCAD 2013

Hi,

I'm a student and I am having trouble installing autocad 2013. In particular, I am unsure how to resolve the repeating failure of directx runtime during installation. Also, during installation an error box appears detailing the failure of FNP_Act_Installer.dll 3: 5. I have tried multiple sollutions listed online for both the issues above to no resolve. I have also, among other things, tried installation during diagnostic mode on my computer. I am operating on Windows 7 Home Edition, 32-bit. Please help. Attached is the most current setup log.

jboyd2107 ,

Hello. If you look at the log file in your temp directory- open it and search on the word “failed”.

You may see this connected to particular prerequisites. If you see this, I would target those programs and uninstall them before I ran my next installation.

Also, run the MSFixit utility to try and uninstall. Also turn off your Antivirus and login as an admin before you install.

OK. I've looked through the install log in the temp folder and found that the only instance of "failed" during the installation occurs when the program attempts to load the "FNP_ACT_InstallerCA.dll 3: 5" file. I have also turned off all ant-virus software and run the install as an administrator. What should I do to overcome this particular installation error?
