error 1308 source file not found

I am doing a network install and creating the msi packages for Autodesk Architectural Desktop. I am about half way through the creation of the package when I get the error 1308- file not found. I check the CD and the files are not there ( got 2 of them and decieded to stop and check it out) the files the install is looking for are acdb16rusres.dll and acdb16plkres.dll. I am not sure if these 2 files are needed for something that I do not need and if I click on ignore and finish the install that it will work or if maybe I am creating the packages in the wrong order. I also need to create the Autocad 2005 one.

I have done a search on all the CD's I have and could not find the files.

Any one have any ideas.

Thanks

I had the same problem and had a hard time finding a solution.
From what I've seen a workaround is to change CD1 for CD2 and press retry. That seems to solve the problem well enough. Hope that helps.

I had the same problem at a client.
We used mapped drive.
Then copied all the files to the local pc.
Then installed a DVD rom.
Removed flush player
Logged in as administrator on local pc.
Checked free space.
Created new c:\temp folder and changed the temp=c:\temp and tmp= c:\temp

Antivirus stopped and firewall turned off.

Still no joy.

2 days later.

Please help me as well.

Hi,

an article from Autodesk Knowledge base

ID: TS1065392
Applies to:
AutoCAD® 2007

Issue
While installing AutoCAD® 2007 from a local or shared hard drive, you
received the following error message:
Error 1308. Source file not found.

Solution

This error may occur if the installation disks were copied to different
folders. The contents of both CDs must be located in the same folder.
When you copy the second CD into the folder where the first CD files are
located, you will see a message similar to the following: "This folder
already contains a file named 'acadcd.mid'." Click the Yes to All button.
Once you have copied both CDs, double-click the setup.exe file to proceed
with the installation.
