I had the 2013 Educational AutoCAD for Mac on my computer. I uninstalled it before installing the new, regular, AutoCAD for Mac 2013 that my organization purchased. However, I am still getting the educational plot stamp on my drawings. I checked and the serial number installed matches the newer, non-educational version, that I want to run. How do I get rid of this educational plot stamp?
The educational stamp isn't just about the program, its about what you *create* with the program as well. So if you work on DWG file with educational AutoCAD 2013 the DWG itself is an educational product. This cannot be removed or circumvented.
If you have a EDU install of AutoCAD on your computer and then you swap it with the Commerical version of AutoCAD, you will need to do some additional steps noted below:
Windows:

For the Mac:
1. Uninstall AutoCAD Mac.
2. Delete the .data file (ONLY). It is noted Step 2 noted here:
http://upandready.typepad.com/up_and_ready/2013/02/reset-standalone-licensing-on-the-mac.html
3. Reboot mac.
4. Reinstall AutoCAD MAC (Commecial serial number)
5. Activate. If you have a problem activating it, call the Activation team.
The EDU Plot Stamp indeed cannot be removed from a file.
