connecting remote users to license manager

Hi:

Newbie here. Need to connect a few users who work in a remote office to our license server back at HQ. The former IT person set up an image file to load AutoCad Architecture 2008 but the install over the remote network was inordinately slow. So, I did a local install and need some help with configuring their install to see the license server. Is there an .ini file to change somewhere or a config item on the AutoCad menu that I should use to point to the license server.

Thanks for your assistance.

Hello,

When you say "I did a local install", did you choose network install during
setup ?
Is AutoCAD after launching asking for a server ?
If no, then you must reinstall and choose network during setup.

Thanks for the heads up Frank. I did a local. I'll follow your tip and do the network version instead and see.

Appreciate your quick response.
