client install fails

We have AutoCAD 2000 installed on the network with a client deployment
folder to load on workstations. The client deployment stopped working today.
It says it can't find the files it needs. Is it possible to recreate the
client deployment without reinstalling AutoCAD to the network in the network
setup? Thanks for the help.

Sure -
Just be sure and point the "installer" to the correct location on the network and it'll use the run tree that is already there.
As you're setting up the deployment you'll be asked for the deployment location and the network installation point. Just browse to
the location where autocad is installed and it won't re-install. In fact, the way it normally works is that it creates the
deployment and then notices that there isn't a run tree where you said there was and it asks you if you want to create one.

Do a back-up of the run tree, just in case, and follow the bouncing ball. It should be no problem.
