i'm having trouble importing my stand-alone license to another computer with newly installed autocad 2010.  i have exported the license from my activated coomputer with no problems but when launching the license transfer utility on the other computer, it asks me to export the license instead of import??? as a side note, this computer is on the same network..would this cause a problem? any ideas on what might be happening or what i could try?

thanks in advance.....

Have you simply tried to activate the new computer?  The LTU works less than never.

i have..it didn't work...i'm thinking since i just loaded the software and i have 30 days to review..after which it will probably ask me to import license instead of exporting..we'll see. -- Clinton M. Iwanicha, Architect ph. 805.254.4051 fx. 866.271.1155 www.cmiarchitect.com

Worst case scenario, call Autodesk Activations for a new activation code.
