autodesk Structural Bridge Design 2014 freeze on splash screen windows 7

Hi I am new to any autodesk product, i recently received autodesk Structural Bridge Design 2014 but on launch it freezes on the splash screen i have a windows 7 enterprise PC on a corporate network, my colleages still have XP PC's & have no issues, a IT support guy says he has had no problems on other windows 7 PC's, amy help or advice i can pass on would be great?

You might try launching it as another user with local admin rights.

Hi,

 

The software lauunches under the IT guys login, he has completed many other installs and mine is the only one with this issue

I figured.  Have your IT rebuild your Windows profile. Also have IT verify you have appropriate rights on your machine.

IT say i have the appropriate rights on the machine & a re-profile has not changed the outcome.
