autocad using flexlm from UNIX platform

we are upgrading from autodesk 14 to 2002, all of
our other applications run off of a UNIX license
quorum (using flexlm) we find ourselves confused
as we thought 2002 used UNIX flexlm vendour deamons,
aparently it does not, can 2004 be licenced using flexlm
running on a Solaris UNIX server

It's annoying. But Autodesk only supports FLEXlm on MS-OS (WNT, W2K, WXP
(W2003)). I think the prob is the adskflex.
Last year a guy told me at the CEBIT that he will try to write a NLM to
run the FLEX for Autodesk products on a Netware server but I never hear
anything from him.
A lot of our costumers are using Solaris, Unix, Linux or Netware servers
and are waiting for such a step from Autodesk.

Just to add to this.  To support all these
platforms you would have to compile for each different one. Then you need to
test on each one to validate that it will work.  Also Globetrotter needs to
support this as well since they create Flex License Manager.    As far
as Novell, Globetrotter dropped support for NLM a year before we went to
flex.    We are always looking at other operating systems but
it's not as simple to implement as you may think.
