autocad 2005 on windows 7

I get error message 1606 could not access network location Autodesk\ when I try to install Autocad 2005 onto windows 7

 

Any suggestions?

you can try using xp mode: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/products/features/windows-xp-mode

or you can try using a 3rd party tool called longbow: http://www.longbowsoftware.com/ not free

none of these are guaranteed to work

Autocad 2005 came out years before window 7 did so it will never be compatible

I have to set up the folder first.

 

If not new version of AutoCAD?  It's only money, right? Smiley Happy
