Is there now, or will there be a Linux version of the adlm for R14/2000?

If so how to obtain it, or get it to work?

Thanks,

Is there now? No. Only for Windows or Netware.
Will there be? I have no official information on this but I'd say not
anywhere in the near future.

I would certainly hope that this would be considered in the near future! I
would like to go to a network version soon, but don't really want to fight
with NT. I wonder if anyone has looked at Wine to accomplish this. For
that matter, how is the AdLM auth code generated? Is it dependent on
Microsoft or could it conceivably work on another OS?

Elan apparently writes the guts of the AdLM, then Autodesk adds their code,
at least as far as I know. Since elan supports unix, I don't think it would
be a stretch to offer this! Certainly easier than porting AutoCAD to
Linux!!!
