activation problems

I have a copy of 2009 Civil 3D that is linked to a 2010 Civil 3D installation.  The problem is that the 2010 was installed by a previous employee (no longer here) on a computer that was destroyed.  In addition, the installation cd's for 2010 can not be found.

Civil 3D 2009 was installed on my new computer but upon trying to activate it, a message pops up that the serial number is invalid which I assume is because it is linked to the 2010 version.

How do I go about resolving this?

Hi dwl78 and welcome on the forums,

Could you please send me your serial number by private message ? (click on my name and then on "send a private message)

Can you also tell me in your private message to which company / entity the license is registered to ?

Thank you !
