activate 2014

newly installed civil3d, everytime I try to open to activate, I get a message saying an Autodesk component has quit working. Says it will close the program. Civil3d still trys to open and locks up the computer.

Please see if the KB article about the 2014 activation crash issue pertains to your problem.

I thank you for your suggestions. We finally got it to work. Seemed to be a problem with the graphics card. Never did understand why I kept qetting message about a trial when I was installing from a fully licensed seat.
