I'm trying to migrate the license from one desktop to another desktop but need to be able to switch between the desktops for a few days while my coworker migrates what he needs.
Originating computer: Windows XP 32 bit.
Destination computer: Windows 7 64bit pro.
The destination computer is updated and the product version numbers are the same.
My problem is that now the originating computer's activation will expire in 24 hours.
So how can i get the activation back on the originating computer temporarily? And then activate the destination computer? When i activate the destination computer i could termiate the originating computer at that point.
