In some cases, you may not be able to install Autodesk software on Windows Vista or Windows 7.
The log files will basically point you errors that potentially can make you go on a wild goose chase:

(SERVER) MSI (s) (34:EC) [14:40:22:071]: Product: AutoCAD 2011 -- Error 1327. Invalid Drive: H:\
NOTE: The H:\ does exist and is the mapped drive that has the deployment files.
This issue was resolved by turning off User Access Control in Windows Vista or Windows 7.
