Windows NT 4.0 Server Upgrade to Windows 2000 Server?

We are getting ready to upgrade our servers. Currently we use the adlm
license manager on an NT 4.0 server. We are going to upgrade our server to
W2K server. Can anyone out there tell me if they have done this and did
they run into any problems running LDDr2i after the server upgrade?

Hi,

haven't done what you're about to do BUT:

The 2i uses the Elan ADLM, which is very unadaptive! I have had our
servercode change when adding memory to the server an once after someone
installed MS Office (why, I never did figure it out....) on it. I am pretty
sure that you are going to have to reauthorize the products after the
upgrade. With the newer version (2002 based products) this isn't true any
longer as the license is only dependant on the Server's NIC's ethernet
address.
