Will Maya 2009 work in Windows 7?

I have Maya 2009 running on a Vista machine and wanted to upgrade to Windows 7.

 

Will I be be able to run Maya 2009 on Windows 7?

Though it isn't officially supported in Win7 like it is in Vista, it might work if you upgrade.
