I recently downloaded the student version of AutoCAD 2010 from the Autodesk website, the install wizard says that it is already installed but there is no shortcut on the desktop like the previous versions that timed out. I was able to install the design review, express tools but not the AutoCAD 2010.
The Autodesk file in the control panel is AutoCAD 2010 English & I was told to uninstall it and then disable the anti virus system & try it again. I am unable to get rid of it & a dialoge box pops up with the following message: Failed to load C:\autodesk\AutoCAD_2010_English_win_64bit\Setup\en-us\SetupRes.dll
I have had somuch trouble on this download, am I the only one that's loosing their mind over this. Any help appreciated.

Hi Jim,
Travis provided the answer on http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/Installation-Licensing/help/td-p/2705337. I see you found that already, but wanted to follow up on this thread so it did not go unanswered and second Travis’ suggestion.
Let us know how things go.
