Vista Beta 2 AutoCAD 2006 license

We will be moving to Vista as soon as it comes out in November. I'm trying to test AutoCAD2006 under Vista Beta 2,
and the license will not authorize from the AutoDesk server
on the web ( that is the type of license I have .. multiuser ).
I'm pretty sure AutoCAD will run under Vista, but I can't
figure out the license problem. I imagine it has something
to do with port access, but so far I have not been successful.
Are any of you working on this? If not .. you will be .. the
industry will bundle Vista on new purchases. That is already
gearing up at most sites .. HP, Dell ...

Did you try the 800 number?
Doesn't solve the mystery but gets it authorized.

I have seen some weird errors with the 2006 products when IE 7 beta is also installed on Windows XP SP2. Vista comes with IE 7 also. That might be your problem. Try the 800 number to authorize over the phone or send an email. Hope this helps.

After you load autoCAD Right click on the short cut then go
to properties then click on compatibility tab. once you are there put a check mark on disable desktop composition and run this program as an administrator
