It's difficult to give you advice on using Zenworks as we have never tested
it and therefore do not support it, but as far as the UserDataCache is
concerned, whenever a new user runs the application, a secondary installer
is triggered to propagate their profile with files from the UserDataCache
folder. This secondary installer also triggers if files required by the
product are deleted from an existing user's profile, we see this for example
if a GPO is enabled to delete user's cached profiles on logout in a roaming
profile environment.

I am trying to run AutoCAD LT 2006 using Novell's Zenworks. Everytime it is
launched it runs through its 'first time start up rutine'. I made sure to
launch Auto CAD and configure it the way I like, so students in the lab will
get the same configuration. I copiied my user account to Default User to
accomplish this. I logged in as another user and all my settings remained.
So far, so good. I then installed ZenWorks, and when students logged in the
configurations did not hold. I believe it is something to with the way
AutoCAD launches. When I view the shortcut properties it shows a "start in"
path of c:\program files\AutoCAD LT 2006\UserDataCache and a "comment"
setting of: Launch ACLT.EXE. The UserDataCache folder, I believe hold the
configurations I want. Can someone confirm this for me? If so, I then have
to figure out how to tell Zenworks to access that info.
