User wants to use Network Licensed AutoCAD 2009 Away From Office

Hi

Our company has AutoCAD 2009 with network licensing for 10 users and one of our users who has a network license needs to work away from the office for several days, away from the network.

Is there a way for him to "check out" a network license so he can do this. If so, how do we do that?

I am aware that with standalone licenses, there is the Portable License Utility which allows a temporary license transfer to another machine, but that is different to what we are trying to do.

Thanks for any advice. (Sorry, I am new to network licensing issues).

Hi,

Launch AutoCAD 2009 from the windows profil you want to use
when you will be disconnect from the network.

In menu tools, you must have a line to borrow a
licence.

Max time is 6 month.
