Uninstalling ACAD 2011 (explorer.exe)

Greetings,

I'm just curious to know why Windows Explorer (explorer.exe) is forced to be closed when uninstalling AutoCAD 2011? Here are system specs:

Windows 7 Pro x64
ACAD 2011 x64

Explorer.exe is not automatically launched after the uninstall completes. You must open the task manager and run a new task in order for it to come back.

Thanks,

JD

I've noticed this problem of explorer.exe crashing when uninstalling 3ds Max Design 2010 as well as DWG TrueView 2011 and 2012. It is obviously very disruptive and not conducive to automatic deployment of new software when we script uninstalling software before installing new versions and Windows Explorer crashes. The users have to reboot their stations because they don't know how to run a new task to start explorer.exe back up.

Is there any way to suppress this in a script using some sort of switch?
