Unable to transfer retail license of AutoCAD LT 2012

Hello all,

I have a retail Stand-Alone license copy of AutoCAD LT 2012 that I need to transfer to a new system.  I have tried using the license export utility and get and error that my serial number is not valid.  I had this same issue when initially trying to activate the product, and had to call a product activation number (855) 805-8800 to get the product activated.  So I figured I'd need to call this number again to get my license transferred.  Much to my surprise I get a message that this number has been temporarily disconnected!

Can anyone please give me some advise on how I can get my license transferred to my new computer?

Thanks,

I don't know where you got that number.  Please call Autodesk Product Registration and Authorization:

http://en.autodesk.ca/adsk/servlet/index?siteID=9719649&id=9830778

1-800-551-1490 > Option 1 (English) > Option 1 > (Stand-alone)

Asia / Pacific: 65.6735.5688
Europe / Middle East / Asia: 41.32.723.9595

You will need to provide your serial number and request code.

The same thing happened to me.  Trying to upgrade to Window 7, reinstalled the program, and AutoDesk tells me the License is invalid.  I think we bought our AutoCad from a Scammer.  Did you ever get yours re-registered with AutoDesk?  If so, How???  They keep telling me I'm out of luck and must buy AutoCad again.

A company called NATIONAL SLA. They claimed to be an Authorized Wholesale
Distributor and I activated the product through them, including activating a
2nd copy for my home computer. The 800 number they gave me with the product
now belongs to some other fly-by-nite outfit selling investment services...
Pretty sure I got screwed.

Thank you,
