Unable to Modify Network Deployment

I have created a network deployment through the deployment wizard for Land Desktop Companion to Civil 3d. Everything works fine except I had a file path under the Client Support Directory Location put my chosen path, but then it adds the default path in front of it?
This is how it reads : C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\G:\CAD Library\LDDT Support\Data\
The G:\... is the path I want.
I try to modify the deployment by deleting the C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ and then go through the rest of the deployment and save. It says it is saving and updating the deployment, but every time I go into the deployment it is maintaining the entire path with both locations??
What am I missing??
Is there a patch out there that I can not find that will resolve this?
I can run the deployments without being silent and change this for every machine, but I should just be able to modify the deployment and get it to work that way.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Chad

You might search this group and/or AUGI, but I think I remember reading
this was a bug in the deployment wizard.

We post-process the standard deployment, so I have not run into this issuse.

I would not create a network deployment of Civil Companion, just copy
the contents of the disk to the network location and run setup from
there. There have been issues in the past with Civil Companion images...

How many do you have to run?

Like?
I have installed over 60 this way with no problems.

I agree, while there have been several successful installations with an
image, including myself, there have been lots of unsuccessful ones...

The ones that have been unsuccessful with an image, have been successful
with using the contents of the CD... the issue of course is that you
cannot preset the support paths..

Thanks. That's why it's not an issue for me.
We set support paths at application startup.
