We are trying to load an Autocad profile and getting the message, "Unable to write to the registry.  Cancelling the Command."

This is a working profile exported out of a machine running windows 7 64 bit Civil 3D 2011 and installing on the same setup.  2012 C3D is present on the new machine but we are loading into 2011.

You have full administrator rights to that machine?

This user does not...we're going to try with a different user who has admin rights.

We tried a login with full permissions and that didn't work.  I exported a new profile from the older machine after updating to version 3 (update 2) and that didn't work.  Tried a different profile that we had stashed away somewhere and that worked.

Not sure what's up with this profile.  It may have originated from a C3D 2010 Xp-32 bit installation.  IT is reporting some problems with bringing those forward...I didn't have that problem with my machine but that could be what's happening on the new machine.
