Trying to Install Inventor Suite 2011 and get error message

Hi all hope u can help.

 

I am trying to install Inventor Suite 2011

 

I get error code.....

 

The installation cannot continue. The install source files are located on a path which is longer than 70 characters. Please locate the install source files in a folder with a shorter path.

 

I have no idea what its talking about...

 

please help!!

Please copy the installation source to the local disk

e.g:-c:\Autodesk

 

this should avoid any installation path errors

Hi could you please explain further.

 

I downloaded the 3 parts from the autodesk site. Would i need to extract all 3 parts???

 

When i tried to extract the second part the system advised me that these files already exist.

The first part will auto-extract all the remaining parts.  Extract to the default location and then run setup.  You should be fine.
