We are trying to create a silent install for Trueview 2012 that doesn't restart the machine.
The machines are WinXP SP3 without Directx installed. I have tried the following command but it forces a restart without any warning :
setup.exe /w /t /q setup.ini /Lang en-US
The install works ok, but we want to suppress the restart so that the user doesn't loose data etc.
Also, we are planning to use this with SCCM if that makes any difference.
Hi
Silent Directx Installation on Windows Xp is a known issue which doesn't have any official fix from Autodesk

But there are some discussions in the forum regarding this issue.
to summarise, if you can install directx with "dxsetup /silent" then restart the machine, trueview installation should go without a restart (on Windows XP).
