Transferring Student licences

Hi, I've currently got student licenced Maya 2014 and Mudbox 2014 installed on my laptop. I recently got a new computer and I wish to have both Maya 2014 and Mudbox 2014 on it instead of having it on my laptop.

I was wondering what steps I should take in making this transfer? would there be any licence transfer processes I would need to go through?
Would I need to first uninstall Maya 2014 from my laptop then install them onto my new PC?

Thanks 🙂

Hello there!

You have a couple of options for transferring your licenses:

1. Transfer your licenses via the online transfer utility

or

2. Uninstall from your old machine and complete fresh installations on your new computer

*Note: If you are prompted to re-activate please contact our Activation and Registration team for assistance:

1.    Visit http://knowledge.autodesk.com/contactus
2.    Select “Activation & Registration” or “License Management”
3.    Select appropriate subtopics from the pull-down menus.
4.    Select “I Still Need Help”  if you need personal assistance.

If you try the online method and it doesn't work for whatever reason please use option two. If you have any questions just reply to this post. Thanks!
