Transfering licence from 3D studio max design to 3D studio max

There was a little misunderstanding, and my company got me 3D studio max design instead of 3D studio,

it's boxed version and considering that there's a quite a procedure to send this back to IT support and then to reverse all the purchasing that has been done, than order proper version and finally install it - it'll just consume too much time.

And our project is already rolling, so we need the software ASAP.

Is there a painful procedure to transfer the license from 3D studio max design to 3D studio?

Please, help, it'll save a lot of time, nerves and lives :smileyhappy:

King regards,

is there a reason why you can't use 3ds max design?

they pretty much do the same thing

unless you need access to the SDK
