The serial number you entered for your previous product is not valid.

I am trying to activate AutoCAD LT 2014 single seat from AutoCAD LT 2008 5 seat.  When it asks me for my previous serial number, I get this message:

The serial number you entered for your previous product is not valid. Try again. (18).

I have already activated a 2014 single seat version of AutoCAD LT 2014 and need to activate 4 more single seat AutoCAD LT 2014.

As far as I know LT2008 is not a qualifying older version for the LT 2014 discounts.
May I ask where you purchased it from and did it list 2008 as a qualifying version?

Dean,

I purchased them thru Amazon. Looking back at the orders, they were listed
as upgrades. They did not say anything about what version they could
upgrade from.

A quick check at the online store at Autodesk and 208 is a qualifying product: so there must be a hiccup with the serial numbers. Only an Autodsek employee can help you there, wait for one to chime in or try here: http://knowledge.autodesk.com/contactus

Hi Kent,

I located your licensing information using your email and found that your new AutoCAD LT 2014 is in the process of being activated. It looks like you have what you need, but if you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Thanks for visiting the forums!
