The application was unable to start

I just installed Autocad LT 2013.

When I click on the icon I get a messege:

The application was unable to start correctly (0xc00007b). Click OK to close the application.

the program does not start, the boot image appears and disappears after 30 seconds without opening the program.

What should I do?

danl337,

Hello. You are possibly running into a licensing snag. Let’s look for a specific TSF file. It will resemble this: ADSKFLEX_NUMBERS_TSF.data. It should be located here:

Settings\All Users\Application Data\FLEXnet

Vista/Windows 7:

C:\ProgramData\FLEXnet

Find this file and change the extension to something different, like ADSKFLEX_NUMBERS_TSF.data.BAK or completely move it from this folder. We don’t want to destroy it, just get it out of the way.

After it is moved or renamed, start the program. A new TSF file will be created and possibly a log file. If the program now works, great, if not, delete the NEW TSF.DATA file and the log and place the original file back in this location, or rename back to ADSKFLEX_NUMBERS_TSF.data

Now try to start the program. If you are asked to register, do so and you should be set.

Can you please give this a look and let me know if it helps?

Removing

ADSKFLEX_NUMBERS_TSF.data

file did not work. I put it back. What is error code (0xc00007b)?

adskflex_00691b00_tsf.data.backup.001
