I'm attempting to install AutoCAD 2012 Maps with a network license, installing from a network drive. The setup is run as administrator and this is the same error (different temp name though) that I've encountered during installation:

ACAD install error downsize.jpg

Detailed installation can be provided upon request (~35 MB).

Please advise.

Besides installing as local admin, make sure that you also have disabled both UAC and your anti-virus. Symantec and Trend Micro are big culprits for these issues.

IT decided to sneak in during lunch. Not certain what exactly was the solution but they disabled and enabled a few things.
