Taking back licenses if there is inactivity

Is there a feature available with Adlm where a AutoCAD license can be
taken back if there is no activity on AutoCAD for a specified amount of
    time.

The reason we need this feature, is that many users open AutoCAD to work
with a drawing and simply get up and leave if there is a meeting or for
lunch, without closing down AutoCAD. In such a situation other users
are unnecessarily deprived of AutoCAD liceneses.

If Adlm does not support such a feature, can someone suggest if such a
program can be written at the WinNT level ?
    Please use plain text.

Sorry, AdLM does not do that. An administrator can pull the license from an
offending user by using the "BURY CLIENT" buttom in the AdLM Control tool.
If this tool is used and the buried session contains unsaved edits, the user
will come back to a "Do you want to save changes (Y/N)" dialog box. If all
changes had been saved, AutoCAD would just be gone.

    Hi Jacob,

we are using the licensing software KeyServer from Sassafras
(www.sassafras.com). The AdLM controlls the numbers of licenses and the
KeyServer checks if the program is idle for a specified time.

    Hope this will help you.

Our application LogOff does exactly this. It has options for
saving/quitting/etc. the current drawing and for timeout settings. See:
